Amanda Lilley approached me to write patterns for an e-book using Peace Fleece yarns. This hat and scarf set is the first for that project. I wanted to create a unisex hat and scarf set that could suit anyone. The hat can be worn as a slouchy or rolled up to be a watchman’s cap. The scarf can be worn as a scarf or seamed to become a cowl (my personal favorite). You can find the pattern at my Etsy store.

The reversible cable on the pattern means that both sides, inside and out, front and back, are the same, so when you roll up the brim of the hat, the inside matches the outside and when you join the ends of the scarf to make a cowl, both sides are the same, so it doesn’t matter that it twists around. I hope that helps!
